About
We are Diana and Victor, two longtime Jersey City residents bringing happiness (feliz) and deliciousness (deliz) to JC with our cakes and sweet and savory pastries.
Diana has worked in the dessert world since 2011, mainly in Manhattan restaurants: Riverpark, Del Posto, élan, Boulud Sud, and Loring Place. In early 2020 she began working at Bread & Salt, helping to expand and diversify their pastry menu to what it is today.
A native New Yorker, Victor has had an entrepreneurial mind all of his life. With degrees in accountancy and entrepreneurial management, he has helped many businesses as a business and tax consultant and worked for corporations like IBM and Ernst and Young.
We began Feliz Deliz in late 2022 with one item: our carrot cake. It proved so popular that it took us a month or two to start offering other flavors like funfetti-raspberry and honey cheesecake.
Markets and pop-ups have given us a chance to make smaller items like cookies, and collaborations with coffee shops have allowed us to expand deeper into sweet and savory territory.
We do not have a brick-and-mortar YET but stay tuned. If you would like to try our desserts, stop by a pop-up, drop into Darke Pines, or DM us! We take special and custom orders all the time.
